Republican Party of Wyoming votes to stop recognizing Liz Cheney as a Republican – The Right Scoop

Must read

The Republican Party of Wyoming dealt another blow to Liz Cheney by officially voting to stop recognizing her as a Republican:

NEWSMAX – The Republican Party of Wyoming will no longer recognize Liz Cheney as a member of the GOP in its second formal reprimand for its criticism of former President Donald Trump.

The state party central committee’s weekend 31-29 vote, followed by local GOP officials in about a third of Wyoming’s 23 counties, to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican.

Cheney didn’t immediately return an email on Monday looking for comment. He described his vote to impeach Trump as an act of conscience in defense of the Constitution.

Trump “cheered on the crowd” and “lit the flame” of the day’s events, Cheney said after the attack.

He is now facing at least four Republican opponents in the 2022 primary, including Cheyenne’s attorney Harriet Hageman, whom Trump approved. Hageman in a statement called the state GOP central committee’s latest vote “adequate,” the Casper Star-Tribune reported.

“Liz Cheney stopped recognizing what Wyoming people care about a long time ago. When he launched his war on President Trump, he completely broke with where we are as a state, ”Hageman said.

Liz Cheney deserves all of this. She has become the favorite Trump-hating Republican of Democrats everywhere and I can’t wait for her to lose next year to Hageman or anyone else.

After all, it’s not really about Trump. It’s about Cheney helping the Hairy Democrats use this Jan.6 committee to try and hurt Republicans in 2022. That’s the main reason this committee started in the first place. It had nothing to do with the “truth” about anything and Cheney is very happy to help them carry on their anti-Republican agenda.
