Outer Banks returns for season 3: here’s everything we know

Just When You Think Things Can’t Get Any More Complicated, Netflix Is Renewed external banks for Season 3. No need to search for buried treasure anymore; We already know we want this. The first two seasons of the hit show wowed viewers with intriguing love triangles and mysterious cliffhangers, and yes, the off-screen drama helped a bit too. (Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline weren’t the only celebs to quit after quarantine, but they might have been the youngest!)

If you haven’t tuned in, it’s hard to overstate how obsessed people are with this show. It is much more than another soap for teenagers. It has a great adventure, a treasure hunt and, in essence, a group of friends that you will fall in love with. In fact, it is much closer to veronica mars that the oc, and the second season made the drama much more intense. Both seasons are now streaming on Netflix, so there’s plenty of time to catch up before new episodes drop!

When will it air?

The third season was announced on December 7, 2021, but it won’t be released until 2023!

Do they all come back?

Yes! All three showrunners (Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke) will return, as well as main cast members Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, Austin North, Drew Starkey, and Charles Esten.
