Donald Trump tells Sean Hannity he supports Joe Biden

Former President Donald Trump revealed a softer side during his latest interview with Sean Hannity, whom he said had been too harsh on President Biden.

Toward the end of the second hour of the interview, which aired Wednesday and Thursday nights on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” the host told Trump that Biden couldn’t handle such a long and difficult interview. powerful.

“Joe doesn’t even know it’s Wednesday,” Hannity said.

Trump’s surprise response: “I hope he does. For the good of this country, I hope he does.”

A shocked Hannity recalled the former president once telling him he was being too harsh on Biden, though he didn’t say exactly when or why.

“It was too difficult,” said Trump, who also chose not to elaborate.

“I will say this. Forget politics… I want someone who is a great leader, I want someone who can go toe-to-toe with President Xi” Jinping of China to take office and protect American interests, Trump said.

“We need our smartest people” in office, Trump said. “I would prefer it to be unbelievably successful… I want to see what’s good for the country.”
