What did Number 10 say about the wedding?
Few details about the wedding have been released, but Number 10 made a statement.
One representative said: “The Prime Minister and Mrs Symonds were married yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral.
“The couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer.”
However, a source close to the couple, who began dating in 2018, revealed more details on the day.
The event apparently took six months to plan, with all 30 guests invited at the last minute.
The ceremony was officiated by Father Daniel Humphreys, who baptized Wilfred last year.
A source also revealed that Boris “couldn’t take his eyes off” Carrie as he walked down the hall.
She came down the hall and he didn’t take his eyes off her. They read their vows and then they kissed. They seemed dazzled, ”they told The Sun.
A source close to Carrie also revealed: “They are both absolutely thrilled. Everything has been carried out in the middle of a great secret and has been meticulously planned.
“It was her secret and that made the day so special.”
